3rd July 48 hours

Today I became the proud owner of an iPod Nano and after 3 hours I had it synched with my iTunes library and had actually got it to play tunes I wanted to listen too. I have also mastered the art of downloading albums from iTunes (which took considerably less time to master – funny how spending money is easy!) The next step is to find some sermons to listen too, Nick has recommended one site and there is the MCC series on Ephesians by Amy Widner I would like to listen too. I had one funny problem in that it kept stopping every 4 minutes or so, but after reading the specs on the internet I have realised I need to charge it for 3 hours before I can start using it seriously.

The screen is one of these touch ones and I am feeling old in that I need to practise whether to flick to the left or the right and when to tap. I can cover the screen with my 2 thumbs so some dexterity / practise is definitely needed!

My next jobs before the great adventure starts are to empty the freezer, do some cleaning and pack. Geoff and I have had an interesting discussion over who gets to sit next to the bored teenager, at present I think she should sit in the middle, but maybe I could change our seats? . . . . . . . . .

  1. I have a suggestion...put the bored teenager at the back of the plane and the parents in the front :)
