The solicitor selling the house wants some id, passport and driving licence, so we waited for mine to return with the new photo card and the address change then headed north to Hedon so they could take photocopies. We left Maddy with Ivy and booked into the Ibis in Hull for a quiet time together! On the way up I phoned North I phoned Steve to see how busy he was and managed to get a dinner date at Chiquito’s for fajitas and then to Asda for cheesecake.
First, however, we went and did all the good stuff at the solicitors and went looking for the pond shop just outside Hedon. To our horror it was gone so we headed back to Hull and bought lunch at Asda. After checking in we wandered round Hull and bought up a wonderful collection of bargains from M&S and for Geoff from Model Zone. They are having a sale so a £120 model was £40 as well as some other bits and pieces, not all the models were reduced so we returned in the morning for more! Before that we picked Steve up from his house and went to see the gym, which is doing really well, and headed for food. It was a good night all round.
Before we left there was shopping in HMV for DVDs and the model shop for further bargains. We were back in Hatfield in time to pick up my new glasses, but I am struggling to come to terms with them so I will try again on Sunday.
