Our preparations are under way. Today we paid a visit to Road 9 and a couple of bookshops, Maddison and I are now stocked up and ready to travel.
5 books each should see us all the way there and all the way back, next I need to sort out something to listen too . . .
The first of our house guests has left today for the Philippines then Japan and then back here for another year of teaching. Donna stayed overnight to avoid rent issues with her landlord who wanted rent and her bond for all of July. Yes, it is only the 2nd of July and she is leaving the country.The general consensus of opinion was that they should leave as the landlord was trying to pull a fast one so after church yesterday they packed their last suitcases and came round. Priti is still with us, she has gone to the seaside today with friends, and flies to India on Monday. Tomorrow she signs her contract for next year and picks up her passport from the school! Hopefully everything will go smoothly.
