The result of the election in our house meant an extra 2 days off school with possibly more to follow if there is a run off! Only Geoff had the full 2 days as Maddy and I had to go into school on Thursday, she went in to sit a physics GCSE module and I went in to invigilate for the year 11 physics exam.
Today, on the way back from church, we walked down a different street to usual and found a paving stone lying at the side of the road, not just any paving stone but a Cairo tessellation, so we picked it up and brought it home! I will take photos of it tomorrow and try to get the back translated so I can find out where they are made then I can go visit!
