The exciting part of going to an American Church is you never know when it’s going to be a bit over the top. This was one of those evenings!
The nativity story with singing, dancing (sort of), a donkey and 3 camels complete with 3 wise men. If you were looking for an accurate portrayal of the Christmas story, this was not the place to be. If you wanted a good night out at an amateur production then this was the place to be.
Oh and there was a real baby as well!
Herod, Caesar and wife. The guy in the suit on the right is Mark Jaffrey, musical director for the church. I’m sure I recognise his name!
one camel
no Three camels complete with animal handlers. You got to sit on the camels outside afterwards if you wanted to. The paler the coat the better the quality of camel.
